I am a designer, photographer, and researcher with a deep fascination for how visual storytelling connects people to place, memory, and identity. My creative practice is rooted in immersive and practice-led research, where design and photography are not just tools but ways of seeing and understanding the world. Through my work, I explore how landscapes shape us, how meaning is embedded in visual language, and how photography can go beyond documentation to become a deeply embodied experience.

Originally from Brazil and now based in Aotearoa New Zealand, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to my work, blending phenomenological and indigenous ways of knowing to challenge conventional narratives in design and photography. My research, particularly through the LINK PRAXIS Journal and LINK Conference, focuses on practice-oriented methodologies, the Global South, and the role of visual communication as a site for knowledge production.

Whether through design, teaching, or photography, my aim is to foster critical engagement with the world around us, creating work that invites reflection, dialogue, and new ways of experiencing the spaces we inhabit
